ABOUT StACC GHANA

Who we are.

The St. Andrews Clinics for Children (STACC) - Ghana, is a volunteer based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) whose parent body is based in the United Kingdom. STACC-Ghana has for the past couple of years been working in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region of Ghana, with the cooperation of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and the Ghana Education Service (GES).

Dedicated to providing healthcare to children in Ghana, STACC-Ghana's focus so far, has been on the identification of soil transmitted parasites (intestinal worms) and dental fluorosis in both enrolled and non-enrolled children of school going age.

Our Mission

To implement integrated approaches to disease control in Ghanaian children in schools and communities through examinations, treatment and health education.
